Welsbach gas pendant
19th century Welsbach gas lamp with original body and glass, electrified. Invented by Carl Auer von Welsbach in 1888, they perfected using rare earth metals to burn much brighter and longer than conventional materials. The company still exist today as EMCOR group for electrical constructions. 22 inches height, 12 inches globe diameter. Three E27 base.
