Gas lamps used on walls were common among the well-to-do, but table lamps can only be used by very wealthy people at the turn of the century. This is an electrified Welsbach gas lamp from Austria. The unusual base is signed by Rembrandt. 30″ height and 20″ deep. 3 E27 socket bases.
